The Centre of Excellence in Cleaner Production at Curtin University brings together industry, government and research with a focus on waste management and industrial ecology research. Our focus is to bring together research and teaching in the area of sustainable development - particularly as it relates to industry. The Centre works closely with Curtin's Engineering faculty and the Australian Sustainability Development Institute. CECP's research programs work closely with other disciplines at Curtin University including the School of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, Department of Environmental Biology, the Curtin Water Quality Research Centre, and the School of Built Environment.
